How To Look Good Naked!

I have found my new favorite show! My friend Tracey told me about it and now I am hooked! What a great idea to have a show that focuses on how to love our bodies and ourselves despite our imperfections! I am shocked that no matter what size a woman is she still has deep rooted issues with her body! We are our toughest critic even though we give everyone else the benefit of the doubt. It's pathetic to see how much we blow our problem areas out of proportion. I love the saying, "What you focus on magnifies." So I will work on concentrating my rockin legs, my cute little feet, and my voluptuous bosom because I really don't want my BIF (butt in front) to magnify!

You've Had A Birthday Shout Hooray!

Little miss Hallie Celebrated her first birthday last month! SOO much has happened in just one year! I remember when Hallie was born. I remember seeing her for the first time at a Relief Society dinner. She was so tiny and new and her momma was so proud!

My heart is so full when I look back on all that has transpired in the past year!

So we decided to celebrate all that is Hallie by taking the whole crew (minus dad) to McDonald's! It doesn't sound like much but we rarely eat out so it was a big deal for the kids. It is not my favorite thing to take five small children into any eating establishment, but we had a blast! We even splurged on Happy Meals for the special occasion!

Of course Hallie knew that she was the special princess for the day!

Hallie plucked off the roses on the top of the cake and ate them all one at a time!

Our little miss Hallie is growing so quickly. We missed having Tiff there so I hope these pictures will give her and idea of the good time that we had. I look forward to watching our baby grow and learn! Happy First first birthday Hallie Wallie Mac and Cheese!

Can You Say Obsessed?

I started reading Pride And Prejudice The day after Christmas.
I then finished Sense And Sensibility New Year's day.
A friend lent me Jane Eyre and I bawled my eyes out! (Charlette Bronte is not quite as good of an author as Jane Austen but she holds her own!)
I just can't help myself! My heart has longed, ached, and hoped. I have squealed, sighed, cried, and have fallen in love with Darcy, Wentworth, and even Willoughby! So far Persuasion is my favorite of Miss Austen's Novels...
But I still have Mansfield Park and Emma to devour!
And if that wasn't bad enough, PBS is airing a whole line up of the compleate Jane Austen on Masterpiece Theatre http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/, which all pale by comparison to the books but they are quite entertaining.
I have come to terms with the fact that I have no life and that I live vicariously through Jane Austen's Characters. I just hope I don't resemble the annoying ones!
